Let's start with the fabric. Tessuti Harley fabric is the perfect robe fabric...soft and drapey, with a slightly sandwashed hand, it comes in a huge variety of stunning colours! I chose the 'lilac' colourway, since this robe was going to be a gift for our lovely Sally, aka manager of all the things here at KATM, and I knew this colour would look incredible on her! 

I decided to add some bias binding trim as a feature around the pockets, sleeves cuffs, neckline and waist tie. I also added a side split for ease of movement. Other than that, I followed the instructions to a tee and it turned out beautifully...

How many labels are too many? None! I decided to go to town sewing in lots of cute and cheeky labels to bring a smile to Sally's dial when she's wearing the robe...the more the merrier we say!
