Try This Project | Partner Dungarees

I've made my first pair of Partner dungarees by Ready To Sew, and I say "first" because I will definitely be making another pair! The project took me approx. 5 hours from start to finish and would be suitable for an ambitious beginner.

Given how many panels there are in this pattern, there is a fair bit of work to do, BUT because everything requires very simple techniques, it's all manageable - just pop on a good podcast and enjoy each step!

I love the overall cut of these dungarees, especially how well they fit in the crotch and thigh areas. The cord cinches in the waist allowing the fit to feel more customisable, and therefore adjustable as needed (you know - post a big lunch!). I also think the inclusion of the elastic at the back is such a great idea, making them comfortable even when sitting down!

To elevate the project, I used the KATM Matte Black Dungarees Hardware and added matching Matte Black Rivets to all the pockets.

Scroll down for all the project details.

I hope you make a pair and love them as much as I do!
