Meet The Artist: LISA KOESTERKE
We are so delighted to introduce @lisakoesterke_illustration, the brilliant artist and illustrator we had the absolute honour to collaborate with on this year's Advent Calendar artwork!
Lisa is a German-Australian illustrator, designer and screen printer, currently living by the Italian seaside. Graduating in visual communication, she has worked with a variety of brands and publishers on many different projects, from greeting cards to picture books, bringing them to life with her bright, cheerful illustrations. When she's not in the studio, you can find Lisa attempting to bake the perfect pavlova, learning to sew her own clothes, or going on long forest walks with her husband and their dog, Bennie šĀ
The brief for our 2026 Advent Calendar: to create a sewing room dreamscape filled with wit and delight. Lisa's depiction of Kylie's sewing room will have you discovering all the hidden characters in amongst a kaleidoscope of colour!
Beyond the cover - inside you'll find Lisa's fabulous illustrations continue and 29 of the 65 new limited edition woven labels featuring Lisa's original designs (spread out across 24 windows for you to open daily)!
